Projects will be advertised in October 2026 with applications closing in mid January 2027. 

Interviews

• Short listed candidates will be invited to interview. 

• Interviews are held centrally, with an online alternative if required. Interview questions are provided to applicants before the interview, allowing preparation to demonstrate their full talent and potential. 

• These interview questions are developed to assess your scientific ability, understanding of the chosen subject, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, creativity, resilience, motivation, and research and leadership potential. 

Successful applicants will then have the opportunity to visit their host institution.
