Plant BioDesign is a collaborative doctoral training programme between the University of York, University of Cambridge, John Innes Centre, and University of Bristol.
It brings together world-leading academic researchers with industry partners, and is designed to build capacity in plant engineering biology focusing on clean growth, resilient food systems, environmental sustainability and novel plant engineering technologies.
This four year PhD programme combines training in technical, professional, leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial skills focused on engineering biology and research projects to advance plant systems biodesign.
